CARLISLE 2012 GALAXIE LIGHTWEIGHT, THUNDERBOLT AND, 427 & 406 REUNION JUNE 1ST - 3RD Charlie Morris informed me that there will be a special display area for the reunion cars at Carlisle. It will be adjacent to Building G (The old tractor dealership) which is next to Gate 1. All 406-427 owners who did not register in time for the invitational will be allowed to park there and their cars will be judged in the Carlisle classes set aside for the reunion cars. This show should be the largest number of SOHC 427 powered vehicles ever in one place resulting in show within a show, called the Cammer Conglomeration. Special celebrity guests will be Al Joniec, Hubert Platt, Ed Terry, Bill Holbrook and John Healey. It also looks like the Dick Brannan / Hubert Platt stretched Mustang Funny car that was restored by Brent Hajek will be there as well. We have just crossed the 200 car mark as of 4-23-2012. The breakdown is based on total percentage of registered cars in relation to the total production figures for each year. These production figures, although estimated, are generally accepted as being close to accurate. Since Ford didn't keep exact records on production figures for these cars prior to 1967, we will never know the exact totals.
